Assembly Instructions
Place the ZADELTJE. correctly on the bicycle's top tube. (In the most comfortable position for you)
Ensure that the clamp with rubber inserts fits snugly around the tube.
Choose the correct bolt length for the top tube's thickness: short bolts for thin tubes, long bolts for thicker tubes.
Tighten the 4 Allen bolts evenly and firmly.
Always check before and after each ride that the Zadeltje is still firmly attached and cannot slide or rotate.
Optional: use Loctite® (threadlocker) to prevent bolts from loosening due to vibrations.
Optional: For extra protection of the bike frame, the user can apply a thin protective layer (e.g., transparent film) before assembly.

ZADELTJE. is a compact bicycle accessory that attaches to the top tube (crossbar) of a bicycle, allowing someone to ride along comfortably for a short period. The ZADELTJE. is designed with an ergonomic seating surface for a passenger in a side-saddle riding position, with a universal attachment system suitable for various top tube shapes. It is suitable for people over 18 years old.

The ZADELTJE. must not be used for purposes other than those specified.
Do not use if you, or the passenger, are uncertain, are taking medication that affects driving, or are under the influence of other (mind-altering) substances such as alcohol and drugs.
Any use of the seat other than described is not permitted.
It is not suitable for commercial purposes.
It is not suitable for use by children under 18 years of age.
The ZADELTJE. has a maximum load of 75 kg.
It is not suitable for people with physical and/or mental disabilities, instability, or inexperienced riders.
It is not suitable during pregnancy.
The manufacturer and/or seller of this product is not liable for:
Any damage to the bicycle (including paint damage or structural damage)
The loss of the bicycle's factory warranty
Personal injury to the rider and/or passenger
Accidents or dangerous situations caused by the use of this product
Any fines/penalties due to use in traffic
Before initial use and before each ride, you must thoroughly check the fastenings.
Keep your bicycle's maximum weight in mind. Consult your bicycle's manufacturer regarding the maximum permitted weight for both the rider and passenger.
The manufacturer of ZADELTJE. is not liable or responsible for exceeding the maximum weight of the bicycle on which it is mounted.
Modifications to the product are not permitted unless explicitly instructed by the manufacturer. Follow these instructions carefully.
Use only original parts from the manufacturer.
If there is damage to the ZADELTJE., or parts thereof, the ZADELTJE. should no longer be used and should be repaired by a professional.
In case of improper use or repairs/replacement of original parts, all warranty and/or liability will be void.
Always check that the bolts are firmly tightened before and after each ride.
The user(s) must comply with applicable (local) laws and regulations.
ZADELTJE. reserves the right to change specifications without notice.
